Pickled Onions

Ingredients

  • 2 ea Red Onions
  • 2 ea White onions
  • 2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 cups White wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp pickle crisp

Instructions

  • Slice the onions and combine into bowl.
    Combine other ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Combine onions and brine and allow to sit for 15 minutes covered.  
    Fill jars with onions and then top with brine.
    Makes approximately 5 pints.
